Royal Expert Weighs In on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Relationship

A royal biographer has offered insights into the relationship between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, suggesting that their connection may have stemmed from their different backgrounds and aspirations.

Tom Quinn, the author of "Guilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family," believes that Harry and Meghan's relationship developed because of the contrast between the Prince's royal status and Meghan's American dreams.

"I think that's why he clicked with Meghan because she comes from a society where if you work hard and you're talented, you can get to the top," Quinn told the Express.

According to Quinn, Harry's grievances may be related to his desire for a larger role within the royal family. He added, "All Harry's complaining is really about the fact that he's not number one, he doesn't have a bigger role."

He also noted that Meghan may have initially believed that she could become the star within the Royal Family, but she encountered the rigidity of the monarchy's structures.

Prince Harry, as the younger son of King Charles and Princess Diana, has often felt like the "spare" compared to his older brother, Prince William. This feeling may have contributed to his bond with Meghan.
