Gwyneth Paltrow recently reflected on her journey of motherhood,
particularly after the birth of her daughter, Apple, 19 years ago. In an
interview with PEOPLE, the Iron Man actress shared how the arrival of her
daughter ella had a significant impact on her acting career.
"Well, it's kind of ironic because I really stepped away from acting when
Apple was born," said the 51-year-old actress. Paltrow revealed that the last
time she was in every scene of a movie was when she was pregnant with Apple.
Ella's experience led her to reconsider her priorities and career choices.
"When I had her de ella about her de ella, everything felt redefined for me,
and I thought, 'I'm not sure that I want to do this so much as a career,'"
Paltrow explained. She emphasized that she didn't want to go away for months
on end, expressing a shift in her professional focus.
In October, Paltrow spoke to Bustle about her daughter, Apple, and the joy of having a daughter who is interested in fashion and skincare. She praised Apple's girly interests, mentioning her talent in makeup and her admirable values.
Gwyneth Paltrow, who shares her two children, Apple and Moses, with her ex-husband Chris Martin, continues to navigate the balance between motherhood and her career, making intentional choices that align with her values.
