Omid Scobie, recognized as a friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has
stirred the ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the royal family in his latest
book, "Endgame," raising questions about the future of the monarchy.
In this bombshell release, Scobie appears to portray the Duke and Duchess of
Sussex as royal martyrs compelled to reveal internal issues because of King
Charles's refusal to apologize for their alleged mistreatment within the
Palace walls.
The book, released on Tuesday, acknowledges Prince William's future as the
King but refrains from offering commendation. Instead, Scobie characterizes
the Prince of Wales as "hotheaded," scheming, and attention-seeking, even
suggesting a discord between William and Charles.
Scobie goes further to claim that William's reign could mark the end of the
monarchy, insinuating that The Firm is heading towards its demise.
In his scathing attack, Scobie, often labeled as Meghan Markle's "mouthpiece," contends that William might be the last King 'as we know it.' He cites an unnamed source claiming that Prince William views his father as a "transitional monarch."
However, Scobie's controversial claims have faced criticism from William's friends and some royal experts, with royal fans expressing their displeasure over the author's predictions about the monarchy's future.
