The lingering wounds from Prince Harry's consistent criticisms of the Royal Family continue to fester, with Prince William and Princess Kate nursing feelings of hurt and anger.
Prince William's reluctance to mend relations is deeply rooted in perceived insults directed at his wife, Kate, by Harry and Meghan. Bower stated, "He sees Harry as a threat to the monarchy and their lives, and he has no intention of reintegrating him."
While King Charles harbors a desire for familial reunification, Bower points out that the ultimate decision lies with William and Kate, given their roles as future monarchs.
"William and Kate bear the weight of the monarchy, and I'm confident William will communicate to his father that there will be no reintegration of Harry because they don't desire it," Bower explained.
In the grand scheme, Charles, despite his regal status, finds himself isolated in his wish for Harry's return. Bower remarked, "He may wear the crown, but he cannot simply summon Harry back with a wave of his hand."
