In a poignant tribute on Remembrance Day, King Charles, alongside Queen Camilla, unveiled new statues dedicated to his late parents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
The monarch, accompanied by Queen Camilla, solemnly honored the fallen soldiers from Britain and the Commonwealth during the annual Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
The royal family graciously shared glimpses from the event, attended by a distinguished assembly, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, the esteemed Prince and Princess of Wales; Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh; Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence; The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester; and the Duke of Kent.
Adorned with red poppy pins, each member of the gathering paid their respects to the fallen soldiers.
Remembrance Day, observed on November 11th every year, marks the formal conclusion of World War I hostilities at the precise moment of "the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" in 1918.
The Festival, orchestrated by the Royal British Legion, stands as an annual commemorative concert, a heartfelt dedication to all those who have sacrificed their lives in conflicts, as noted by the royal family's official Instagram account.
