King Charles's 75th birthday was made more special with a significant and heartfelt gift from his estranged son, Prince Harry. According to insiders, the monarch's most cherished gift this year was a phone call from Prince Harry, marking their first conversation in six months.
Sources close to the Duke of Sussex informed the BBC that Harry planned to call his father, who does not own a mobile phone, to wish him a happy birthday. However, Express UK, citing its sources, claims that Prince Harry did not make the call as expected.
Reportedly, the monarch "waves the phone away" whenever Harry attempts to contact him, and there was no coordination with the King's team to schedule a suitable time for the call, given Charles's busy schedule.
Contrary to these claims, The Sun reported that during the call, King Charles also spoke with his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle. This development comes amid reports of minimal contact between Charles and Harry, particularly since the release of Harry's tell-all memoir, "Spare."
In contrast, other members of the Royal Family, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Princess Beatrice, Lady Sarah Chatto (Princess Margaret's daughter), and Zara Tindall with her husband Mike Tindall, gathered to celebrate the monarch's birthday.
