Meghan Markle Displeased with Kate and William's Dispute Over 'The Crown'

Tensions are reportedly rising between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on one side and Kate Middleton and Prince William on the other, as the royal couples find themselves embroiled in a dispute over the upcoming season of the Netflix series, 'The Crown.'

The much-anticipated season, set to be released in two parts on November 16 and December 14, focuses on the final days of Princess Diana and the tragic car accident in Paris in 1997. According to sources cited by The Mirror, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are perturbed by the notion that they might profit from Diana's death due to their current contract with the streaming giant.

An insider, speaking to Heat Magazine, revealed that Prince William has expressed serious concerns about Prince Harry's association with Netflix. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton reportedly believes that Prince William's stance is influenced by Meghan Markle.

The Sussexes are reportedly aware of the royal displeasure regarding 'The Crown' and their Netflix deal but have no intentions of defending themselves. An insider explained, "Some things in life aren't black and white, and William, of all people, should know that just because they have a deal with Netflix, it doesn't mean they approve of 'The Crown' or have any sort of influence over what gets shown."

Meghan Markle is said to be accusing Kate and William of harboring resentment and has advised Prince Harry to ignore the brewing conflict. The source claimed, "She thinks they're being petty and looking for any reason to squabble."

As the release of the new season approaches, the royal family's internal tensions over the portrayal of Princess Diana's life on screen seem to be reaching a boiling point.
