Meghan Markle has emerged as the more stylish celebrity, surpassing Kate
Middleton, according to new data released by high street fashion retailer Karen
Millen. The data revealed that Meghan's fashion choices attracted about 661
percent more interest from fans, based on the number of Google searches.
Specifically, the Duchess of Sussex's fashion choices were searched over 2000
times on the web search platform, even outshining the likes of Taylor Swift.
On social media, Meghan received an average of 58.4 million views on videos
related to fashion hashtags on TikTok.
In contrast, the future Queen, Kate Middleton, secured 381.4 million views on
the video platform. However, Kate did maintain an edge over the former actress
in terms of Instagram popularity.
Amy Priestley, Senior Brand Manager at Karen Millen, commented on the distinct
fashion choices of King Charles' daughters-in-law. She noted, "Meghan Markle
has faced widespread criticism for breaking royal protocols, such as wearing
bright nail polish, black outfits outside of funerals, and shorts. However,
her bold choices and the confidence with which she wears them set her apart."
She added, "Those seeking to exude confidence and embrace current trends may
find inspiration in Meghan, while those who prefer classier and more
conservative outfit ideas might look to Kate Middleton."
The data highlights the evolving preferences of the public in terms of
fashion, with Meghan Markle's bold choices resonating with a significant
audience.
