As detailed by royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams in OK!, the aftermath of the sexual abuse scandal involving the disgraced Duke of York has significantly impacted the ability of the two princesses to contribute fully as working royals.
Fitzwilliams remarked, "If they were to take on more substantial royal duties, the issue lies in the association with Prince Andrew. At present, it seems unlikely that they would be called upon for increased responsibilities. It's a matter of assessing public sentiment."
"At the moment, [Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie] are content with their marriages, careers, and families. Yet, on the flip side, there might be a wish to take on more substantial royal responsibilities," Fitzwilliams added.
