Prince Andrew's Return to Royal Engagement Amidst Royal Lodge Feud with King Charles

Prince Andrew, despite being embroiled in controversies and a long-standing dispute over the Royal Lodge, found himself back in the royal fold.

King Charles invited the Duke of York to a royal event at Windsor Castle, where they welcomed the new Dean of Windsor and inaugurated Right Reverend Dr Christopher Cocksworth at St George's Chapel.

The 63-year-old Prince was reportedly granted a "royal pardon" before attending the ceremony, appearing as a private individual rather than a working member of the Royal Family. Prince Andrew stepped back from his official royal duties in 2019 due to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and related allegations.

The ongoing dispute between King Charles and Prince Andrew centers on the Royal Lodge, where Andrew has been residing for years. The King reportedly evicted him and suggested relocating him to Frogmore Cottage, the former residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, Prince Andrew is adamant about staying at his current residence, shared with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
