Prince Harry, who has been in the news regarding his upcoming return to the UK for King Charles' significant event next week, seemingly remains unconcerned about not receiving an invitation to his father's 75th birthday celebration.
However, Prince Harry will not be part of this family reunion in the UK. A rare statement from a spokesperson for the Sussexes reportedly affirmed that there had been "no contact regarding an invitation" to the event.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a commentator on the royal family, believes that "a reconciliation between Prince Harry and the Royal Family could certainly take years." He pointed out, "Who would trust Harry and Meghan, especially after their timing in releasing the news about not receiving an invitation to King Charles' 75th birthday celebrations just hours before the King's first speech opening Parliament as Monarch?"
Fitzwilliams continued, "The Sussexes have previously disrupted royal plans in this manner, and it is evidently deeply resented by the Royal Family and the courtiers."
He concluded, "I genuinely believe that Harry is not particularly concerned about not being invited to his father's 75th birthday celebration. The division is profound. Reportedly, the Sussexes still seek an apology from the Royal Family. The future remains uncertain, and it is an unenviable prospect for King Charles to contend with."
