Despite the royal couple's commitments to uphold tradition within the monarchy, their children are in for a treat during Christmas, according to insights from royal commentator Kate Nicholl on GB News.
Nicholl explained, "The royals tend to follow tradition when it comes to Christmas. I think we will see the Waleses at Sandringham with the King and Queen and the extended Royal Family members."
The royal expert pointed out that the Wales children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, will experience the "best of both worlds" by celebrating the holidays with both sides of the family.
"Waleses have managed to have the best of both worlds," Nicholl noted. "They do the traditional royal Christmas, then they have Christmas with Kate’s family."
She highlighted that the children, especially George, Charlotte, and Louis, will enjoy a "double Christmas celebration with both sets of grandparents and both sets of families."
While there were speculations about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joining the family for Christmas, it appears unlikely that the Wales children will meet their cousins, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, amid the ongoing royal rift.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen to spend the last three Christmases in their Montecito mansion.
