Prince William and Kate Middleton's Christmas plans are reportedly in
limbo as they contemplate the potential presence of Prince Harry and Meghan
Markle during the festive season.
The Prince and Princess of Wales might miss the traditional Royal Family Christmas celebrations this year if the Sussexes join them for the festivities. According to The Sunday Times, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would readily accept an invitation to spend the holidays with King Charles and the rest of the family at Sandringham.
While one friend stated, "I can't imagine the Sussexes would decline an
invitation to spend time with His Majesty," royal insiders raised questions
about how the future monarchs, Prince William and Kate, would react to their
father's attempt to extend an olive branch.
Some insiders suggest that King Charles is more likely to invite Prince Harry
and Meghan Markle to visit him in Scotland over the New Year, while Prince
William and Kate will be at their Norfolk country home. This could potentially
serve as a diplomatic solution to avoid causing difficulty between the two
brothers.
The uncertainty surrounding the Christmas plans adds another layer to the complex dynamics within the Royal Family.
