Prince William and Kate Middleton's Reaction to 'South Park' Parody Unveiled in Omid Scobie's New Book

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemed to face a challenging year in terms of public relations, with Hollywood not holding back on mocking them through various shows.

In February, following the release of the Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," and Harry's memoir, "Spare," the adult animated series "South Park," created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, added to the satire with an episode titled "Worldwide Privacy Tour."

While the royal family did not officially acknowledge the episode, an excerpt from Omid Scobie's new book, "Endgame," published by The Sun, suggests that Prince William found the parody quite amusing.

According to the book, William thought the viral episode was "hilarious." The "Worldwide Privacy Tour" episode took numerous jabs at the US-based couple, cleverly mocking their privacy concerns. The show portrayed the 'Prince and Princess of Canada' embarking on a "worldwide privacy tour" with signs reading "we want our privacy" and "stop looking at us."

The humor extended to a fictional appearance on 'Good Morning Canada,' where Harry was described as a "royal prince, millionaire, world traveler, victim," and Meghan as a "sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim." The episode touched on various satirical aspects, including a candle blocking Meghan's view of her during the Queen's funeral and their relocation of her to California.

This revelation sheds light on the royal couple's ability to take humor in stride, even in the face of satire from popular media outlets.
