Undeterred by recent criticisms and revelations in Omid Scobie's upcoming
book, Prince William maintained a composed demeanor during his first solo royal
engagement since the explosive claims.
The book, titled "Endgame," delves into the final hours of the Queen's life, exposing details such as Prince Charles refusing Prince Harry's call to inform him. The biographer also noted Prince William's aloofness towards his youngest brother during the funeral processions last year.
Despite these revelations, Prince William showcased a cool and collected
demeanor during a recent solo engagement in Manchester, discussing measures to
control youth violence. Body language expert Judi James observed that the
future King did not display a strong response to the book's claims.
"It's more like a hint of mild exasperation than any appearance of being
genuinely rattled," James shared with the Mirror. While acknowledging that the
Royal Family should be tired of the ongoing controversies, James noted,
"Despite this though, or perhaps because of it, William looks even more
determined than usual to throw himself into his causes and to immerse himself
with the people "he meets."
As Prince William interacted with people, James observed a range of facial expressions, from regret to concern, which she attributed to potential reactions to the latest swipes in the new book. However, she clarified, "There's no anxiety or nervousness in this response, just a suggestion that he might, at worst, be 'disappointed'."
