Award for best Afrobeats song, "Calm Down," alongside Nigerian rapper Rema.
Unable to attend the show in person, Gomez pre-recorded her acceptance speech,
exuding happiness for the win.
Dressed in a vibrant crocheted Oscar de la Renta floral dress, the 31-year-old
star, known for her role in ella's "Only Murders in the Building," graciously
thanked Billboard in her message. She attributed the success of "Calm Down" to
Rema, acknowledging him for choosing her to be a part of the incredible song.
In her acceptance speech, Gomez expressed gratitude to both Rema and her fans
for streaming and listening to the song. Despite the distance, she conveyed
her wish to be present at the awards ceremony.
