The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their festive wishes with a Christmas-themed card on Friday, December 15, featuring a photo from their final night in Germany during the Invictus Games' closing ceremony earlier in the year.
In the image, the couple cheers on the U.S. team as they enter the stage, with Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" playing in the background.
Body language expert Judi James, speaking to Fabulous, sees the choice of this particular photo as a potential soft launch for Meghan's political career.
"The song ‘Born in the USA’ has links to politics, and this professional pose with the music accompaniment reeks of success, celebration, and glory,” suggested James.
While Meghan was previously rumored to potentially fill the late Californian Senator Dianne Feinstein's seat, these claims were debunked. However, speculation about Meghan's political ambitions persisted.
James pointed out Meghan's distinctive 'seal clap' in the photo, describing it as a telling sign of her prospective aspirations. "Although she’s clapping, her ‘seal clap’ hand position makes it almost look as though she’s catching something that is being thrown at her, perhaps a new role or a new office?" James commented.
She added, "Her expression is also one of optimism, as though she is expecting new successes in 2024."
