Despite receiving a final allowance of $5.6 million from Prince Harry's father, King Charles, covering living and security costs proved to be an ongoing challenge.
While the initial millions from deals with Spotify and Netflix provided a temporary safety net, the insider revealed that the couple is once again "back to scrambling to figure out how to pay the bills."
The financial crunch has reportedly led to feelings of resentment for Prince Harry, particularly towards his older brother, Prince William. The source noted, "Harry can’t help but resent his brother. Harry has long accepted that he’s the ‘spare,’ but just like William, he also gave up a good part of his life in service to the royal family, and it seems unfair that he has nothing to show for it."
