Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly contemplating an unexpected
move in the wake of not receiving an invitation to the royal family's Christmas
celebration. The doors of reconciliation with the royal family seem to have
closed ahead of the festive season.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams cautioned that the Duke and Duchess of
Sussex might take a dubious step as they grapple with challenges in Hollywood
amid a deepening royal rift. Express.co.uk reported Fitzwilliams stating, "The
idea of the Sussexes joining the rest of the Royal Family for Christmas,
floated by sources close to them earlier, seems ridiculous."
He added, "It presents a challenge but the Sussexes are failing in Hollywood and unpopular in America. What, we wonder, since they are so unpredictable, happens next!"
Having stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020, Harry and Meghan have continued to fuel their dispute with the royal family, maintaining a noticeable silence over claims of 'racist royals.' Allegations of racist conversations about the couple's son, Archie, were revealed by the former Suits actress' alleged "mouthpiece" Omid Scobie, further straining their relationship with the royal family and casting the institution in a negative light.
