The Prince and Princess of Wales are anticipating a much-needed 'break' with their kids—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—following a year described as 'fraught with tension,' according to reports.
As part of their planned activities, the royal couple intends to engage in charity work by visiting a shelter for the unhoused alongside their children, as revealed by an insider to Us Weekly.
"After the holiday, the family will all take a vacation somewhere in the commonwealth," the insider disclosed. "There will be a beach and relaxing for the whole family."
The decision whether Kate and William will participate in the Christmas lunch at Sandringham with King Charles and Queen Camilla remains uncertain. Reports suggest that the 75-year-old monarch has adjusted the guest list by inviting Camilla's children and grandchildren to join them for the festive season.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to experience a relatively solitary Christmas celebration with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in California, feeling the absence of the familial gathering across the Atlantic.
