Royal commentator Victoria Murphy recently discussed potential challenges for the next generation of royals regarding the pervasive use of social media during their teenage years on HELLO's A Right Royal Podcast.
"I definitely think any public figure faces huge additional challenges because of social media. I believe this is something that will be a concern for the next generation of royals," she expressed.
Drawing a comparison to the Prince and Princess of Wales, she highlighted, "William and Kate, during their courtship, did not experience the internet age."
Murphy noted that during William's university days, media access was restricted, resulting in limited information coming to light.
"If George, Charlotte, or Louis attend university, and the media is restricted, how do you manage hundreds of university students with phones? How does that work? What implications will it have for their lives or the people around them?" she questioned.
The journalist emphasized that it will be intriguing to observe how the future royals navigate the challenge of maintaining privacy in the era of mobile phones.
