Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face criticism for their latest video, with
the couple advised to reconsider their strategy after attempting to overshadow
Kate Middleton's charity work. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a video
highlighting their Archewell Foundation just hours after Princess Kate shared
her own clip unveiling her charity efforts with the Baby Banks initiative.
Talk TV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan criticized the couple for what he deemed an
"overexposed" attempt to win over Kate. Following reports of a multi-million
pound drop in funding for the Archewell Foundation, O'Sullivan urged Harry and
Meghan to "change their game."
After playing a clip of the Sussex video, O'Sullivan noted the declining
profits of the Archewell Foundation, attributing it to a lack of donations. He
remarked, "These two people need to change their game, somehow or other
because it isn't working, is it?"
Panellist and journalist JJ Anisiobi concurred, highlighting that Harry and
Meghan are "massively over-exposed."
Allegations suggest that Meghan and Harry's attempt to release the video was an unwise move to overshadow Kate's charity work visit. The Sussexes' video came shortly after Kate's clip, showcasing her packing Christmas gifts for others alongside her and William's three children.
Despite the alleged attempt to steal the spotlight, Kate's elegance and decency prevailed, outshining the tactics employed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once again.
