King Charles is reportedly hesitant to engage in telephone conversations
with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle due to concerns about potential leaks of
private discussions. Despite the monarch's desire to mend the rift between the
Sussexes and Prince William and Kate Middleton, there are fears of upsetting the
Waleses.
An insider revealed to OK! that while the King would ideally want to spend Christmas with his sons and grandchildren, the complexities of the situation, coupled with existing hostilities toward Harry and Meghan, particularly from the Prince and Princess of Wales, make it challenging.
The source explained, "It would make things very difficult because there is
still so much hostility towards Harry and Meghan, particularly from the Prince
and Princess of Wales."
Recent reports suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan expressed willingness to visit the royal family in the UK for Christmas. However, the release of Omid Scobie's book, "Endgame," named King Charles and Kate as two royals accused of making racist remarks against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's then-unborn child, Prince Archie.
