Amidst the growing rift between Prince Harry and the royal family, it
seems that both Prince William and Prince Harry may be excluded from King
Charles's annual Christmas speech. While Prince Harry wasn't mentioned in last
year's speech, speculation suggests that the estranged brothers may be omitted
this year.
Royal expert Jennie Bond shared her belief with The Sun that King Charles will
likely avoid anything too political and steer clear of addressing family drama
on television. She stated, "Charles wouldn’t address the challenges with Harry
on TV. I doubt he’ll mention Harry at all. I don’t think he’ll mention William
either, as he knows that will be seen as a dig to Harry."
In last year's speech, King Charles commemorated the late Queen Elizabeth II, paying tribute to her long reign and acknowledging the "great hardship" during a cost-of-living crisis. He called for "peace and unity" in challenging times. Prince William and Kate Middleton received a nod as he acknowledged their visit to Wales and their new titles, Prince and Princess of Wales.
The decision to potentially exclude Prince Harry and Prince William from the Christmas speech underscores the ongoing complexities within the royal family.
