In the wake of the revelation in Omid Scobie's book, Endgame, concerning a
royal race row, Britain's King Charles stands resolute. The Dutch edition of the
book faced an abrupt withdrawal from shelves after divulging the names of two
senior royals accused of expressing 'concerns' about Archie's skin color.
Sources close to the King, accused by Scobie alongside the Princess of Wales
of discussing Archie's skin, have conveyed that he remains unfazed by the
disclosure. Instead, King Charles is reported to be 'full of energy,'
dismissing any concern about being named.
The Sun reports that King Charles has asserted to friends that he will 'not be emotionally blackmailed by his own son' in response to the unfolding controversy.
As Dutch publishers counter Omid Scobie's blame for the error that led to the revelation of the two names, the royal family and the Sussexes maintain a steadfast silence on the book's content.
Earlier, Omid Scobie's Dutch version of Endgame brought forward the names of two senior royals involved in the race row. Despite being known as Harry and Meghan's preferred royal journalist, Scobie faces denial from the couple regarding any involvement in briefing him for Endgame.
