Having previously made an emotional plea for his feuding sons to reconcile, King Charles finds himself in a "terrifying situation" as he harbors a desire for the brothers to set aside their differences for the upcoming Christmas festivities.
According to an insider, the King yearns to witness the reunion of Harry, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet with other members of the royal family during Christmas. However, he faces a dilemma as Prince William and Kate reportedly have no intention of forgiving the Sussexes.
"The King is torn between welcoming them back into the family, as he wishes, and the reluctance of William and Kate to forgive the Sussexes," the source revealed.
Allegedly, the Prince and Princess of Wales have lost trust in the US-based couple following their claims and allegations about the royal family.
The source concluded, "William will undoubtedly support his father in whatever decision he makes regarding Harry and Meghan, but rebuilding trust seems unlikely."
