Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing accusations of attempting to
mask professional setbacks by releasing a polished video highlighting their
charitable organization, The Archewell Foundation. In an analysis on GB News,
Kinsey Schofield asserted that this year has been professionally challenging for
the couple.
The recent release of The Archewell Foundation's 2022-23 Impact Report,
showcasing their charitable efforts, raised eyebrows. Schofield commented,
"This is not a video they typically release around this time. They usually
release this video in January of a recap of everything they’ve done."
She suggested that the couple might be trying to divert attention from
perceived failures, stating, "I think they’re trying to distract from the fact
that everybody is recognizing that they failed hard this year, and they don’t
want to move into 2024 with this stamp of losers on their foreheads."
Earlier reports indicated that Harry and Meghan faced a significant drop in donations for their foundation, resulting in challenges for the couple in the aftermath of strained relationships with senior members of the royal family.
