Meghan Markle may find herself compelled to provide testimony in court
concerning allegations of 'racist royals,' stemming from her revelation that
members of the royal family expressed concerns about her son, Prince Archie,
before his birth. The renewed focus on this controversy follows royal author
Omid Scobie's mention of the specific royals involved in his book, "Endgame."
In a trial scheduled for November next year, Meghan will confront her
half-sister, Samantha, who has filed a defamation lawsuit against the former
actress, claiming that Meghan portrayed her as a "liar for profit and fame"
during the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Attorney Peter Tickin, representing Samantha, expressed his intention to delve into the 'royal racists' issue under oath, emphasizing the need to explore the reasons behind Meghan's alleged abandonment of her family and her turn against them. Tickin stated, "This is a person who wants to be able to say horrible things and not really care if she destroyed the lives of people in her family. She doesn’t care if she destroys the monarchy."
Tickin also revealed plans to formally file a motion next month, urging the court to demand a deposition from the Sussexes, a formal statement under oath, as part of the ongoing lawsuit.
