Meghan Markle's Commercial Ventures Face Setback Amid 'Endgame' Drama

Meghan Markle has reportedly faced challenges in securing major commercial projects following the explosive claims made by Omid Scobie in his book "Endgame." The Duchess of Sussex's attempt to achieve commercial success and popularity has encountered obstacles, according to The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson.

Speaking on True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, Wilkinson stated, "Meghan's attempt at commercially being extremely popular and making lots of money has failed." He contrasted this with Prince Harry's more successful year in terms of his career.

Wilkinson commented on Meghan's role, stating, "[This year] Harry's done what he's wanted to do …[but] Meghan hasn't really found her role." He specifically mentioned the impact of the Spotify deal on Meghan's confidence, noting that it was expected to be a significant venture but faced challenges. "There was talk at the time that there would be other partners that could take her podcast; that hasn't happened," he added.

The couple, who stepped down from their senior royal positions in 2020, faced negative publicity this year, particularly following the release of "Endgame." Wilkinson mentioned the couple's efforts to maintain a positive relationship with the royal family, but the controversy surrounding "Endgame" disrupted those intentions.
