Meghan Markle's Hollywood Career in Peril Amidst Fallout from 'Endgame'

Meghan Markle's Hollywood career is facing a substantial setback as Omid Scobie's 'Endgame' continues to generate headlines. Scobie, often referred to as the Duchess's 'mouthpiece,' has made controversial revelations against the Royal Family, sparking speculations of Meghan's possible cooperation.

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede, speaking to the Daily Mail, discussed the potentially irreparable damage to Meghan's career due to her association with Scobie.

"The book written by Omid Scobie is potentially a career incendiary device for Meghan," Ede remarked. "Just as Harry's own goal of a book [Spare] has proved for him, the new book by Scobie unfortunately has fueled a fire which many had thought would die down."

Meghan Markle, who signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME) earlier this year in an effort to revive her Hollywood career, is now facing challenges as a result of the ongoing controversy. Despite her recent appearance at the Variety Power of Women event teasing 'exciting' news, her association with Scobie has created uncertainty.

Ede explained the dilemma facing Hollywood agents, stating, "The issue for a huge Hollywood agent is that they will find it hard to navigate the career of Meghan fearing that more will come out over time and that, with court cases looming from her sister and potentially her father, she has tarnished her reputation and could potentially damage the reputation of her agency."

While acknowledging Meghan's potential as a superpower in the right hands, Ede expressed concerns about her current situation. "She's proving to be too hot to handle, and, even though she hasn't said anything about the book, she's guilty by association, and this is damaging for her and others as she plots her next career move," he added.
