Meghan Markle's Reported 'Superiority Complex' Contributed to Rift with Kate Middleton

Meghan Markle's alleged feelings of superiority in comparison to her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, are said to have played a role in the early tensions between the two.

According to an insider cited by The Telegraph, the Duchess of Sussex felt uncomfortable playing "second fiddle" to Kate, especially as Meghan perceived herself as a self-made woman with a career before her marriage to Prince Harry.

The source suggests that Meghan believed she had more of a right to speak than Kate, who, in her view, had married into the family as an unknown.

Meghan, seeing herself as a philanthropist, reportedly thought she could teach the royals a thing or two about charity. However, she found it challenging that the Royal Foundation was already well-established by the time she became part of the family.

The insider revealed, "Meghan regarded herself as a philanthropist who could teach the royals a thing or two about charity," but her entry into an existing system made it difficult for her to assert her influence.

Over the years, the relationship between the two daughters-in-law of King Charles has faced challenges, with Meghan reportedly finding it difficult to integrate into the already established dynamics within the Royal Family. Omid Scobie's book, "Finding Freedom," suggested that the relationship between Meghan and Kate lacked meaningful connections.
