Piers Morgan, in his show, called out the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for maintaining silence amid the royal race row fueled by Scobie's claims.
He continued, questioning their atypical silence, "They typically do not hesitate to correct the record, as they see it, in the face of any perceived media injustice. So, if they are not the source of Scobie’s allegations, or if they disagree with them, why the silence?"
Meghan's estranged father, Thomas Markle, also expressed dissatisfaction with his daughter's reaction following the release of Endgame. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Thomas said, "The fact that Harry and Meghan have not publicly distanced themselves from this strikes me as unusual."
For context, the Dutch version of Scobie's book allegedly disclosed the names of two royal figures engaged in inappropriate discussions about the skin color of Harry and Meghan's son, Archie.
In response to the allegations, Scobie denied the accusations, stating, "The book is in several languages, and unfortunately, I do not speak Dutch. But if there are translation errors, I'm sure the publishers will have it under control."
It's worth noting that the controversy surrounding 'royal racists' initially emerged in 2021 when Meghan Markle made shocking revelations about the royal family's mistreatment of her during Oprah Winfrey’s talk show.
