According to the Daily Mail, Kate has reservations about single-sex schools like Eton, possibly due to her negative experiences at Downe House, an all-girls boarding school. On the other hand, William is keen on adhering to the royal tradition of sending male family members to Eton.
This recent visit to Marlborough College is not Kate's first; she had previously visited the institution on a solo trip in October.
Prince George, who is currently attending the co-educational prep school Lambrook, is undergoing assessments that may influence his future education.
Following their visit to Marlborough College, Kate, William, and the future King-in-waiting reportedly enjoyed a low-key lunch at Tray’s Café at nearby Barrs Yard in Hungerford. A staffer described the royal trio as "utterly delightful" and mentioned, "They couldn’t have been nicer."
