Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly broken their silence regarding the explosive claims made by Omid Scobie in his book "Endgame" against the royal family.
According to a source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as reported by The Sunday Mirror, they had "never intended the names of their relatives to be publicly named." The insider added that the names of the royal figures were "not leaked to Scobie by anyone in her [Meghan’s] camp."
In the Dutch version of Scobie's book, the royal biographer allegedly disclosed the names of two royal figures engaged in racist conversations about Harry and Meghan's son Archie's skin color.
However, Scobie denied all accusations, labeling them as "translation errors" during an interview on the Dutch show RTL Boulevard. He clarified, "I wrote and edited the English version. There's never been no version that I've produced that has names in it."
The controversy surrounding the 'royal racist' first emerged in 2021 when Meghan and Harry appeared on Oprah Winfrey's talk show. Meghan, the former Suits actress, revealed shocking details about the ill-treatment she faced within the royal family, including discussions about denying security and titles, along with concerns about Archie's skin color during her pregnancy.
