The alleged revelation by Omid Scobie of two royal figures engaging in unethical conversations about Archie's skin color has further strained the possibility of a Christmas reunion between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family.
A close friend of both Harry and William expressed sadness over the widening rift between the two brothers. In a statement to the publication, he conveyed, "It's incredibly sad it has come to this. Hugh is one of the very few close friends of William and Harry’s who has maintained strong bonds and a line of communication with both."
He continued, acknowledging the difficulty of reconciliation before the wedding, saying, "He wishes they could put their heads together and patch things up, but realizes it’s unlikely to happen before the wedding."
