Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Face Setback in the US Following 'Endgame'

Recent years have witnessed a noticeable shift in Americans' perceptions of the British royal family, with Prince William and Kate Middleton gaining significant popularity. In contrast, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry struggle to win over the majority.

A media outlet's poll conducted after Omid Scobie's 'Endgame' reveals that Kate Middleton is hailed as the 'People's Princess' in the US, enjoying a surge in popularity. Conversely, Meghan experiences a decline in her reputation, as indicated by the poll.

Despite the controversial revelations in Scobie's book, Kate Middleton, Prince William, King Charles, and Queen Camilla's reputations remain intact. The claims appear to have adversely affected the credibility of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the US.

The poll of 1,000 Americans, conducted between November 30 and December 1 after the release of 'Endgame,' shows America's favorite royal to be the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, with a 44 percent positivity score. Prince William follows closely with 36 percent, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle receive scores of 28 percent and 21 percent, respectively.

Royal commentator Gareth Russell observes that Kate and William are currently more popular than Harry and Meghan, with favorable coverage in overseas and American media.

"The Waleses have been very impressive. Certainly, the coverage in the overseas media, including the American media is very favourable to the Prince and Princess of Wales at the moment," Russell stated on GB News.
