The Duke of Sussex took legal action against the Home Office, contesting the decision to remove publicly-funded security for him, Meghan, and their children, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, when they stepped back from their royal roles in 2020.
Currently residing in California, Harry argues that returning to the UK poses a safety risk for his family. However, Rae, speaking to Stephen Dixon on GB News, criticized Harry's stance, stating, "He’s got this ludicrous argument in my opinion that he cannot bring Lilibet and Archie and Meghan back to the U.K. because it’s far too dangerous."
"Well actually Harry, you actually live in probably one of the most criminally dangerous countries in the world, and you know it’s a ridiculous argument in my view," Rae continued.
In a letter disclosed in court by a former aide of Queen Elizabeth II, the late Queen expressed the belief that Harry and Meghan deserved "effective security" whenever they returned to the UK, irrespective of their status within the Royal Family.
