The Duke of Sussex has allegedly faced another disappointment from the 75-year-old monarch, who has purportedly chosen to invite Queen Camilla's children over Harry and his family for this year's royal Christmas festivities at Sandringham.
While the Queen extended invitations to her children and grandchildren this year, deviating from previous traditions, King Charles did not extend the same courtesy to his own son. According to an ITV report by royals editor Chris Ship, someone familiar with the plans stated, "The Queen has invited her children and grandchildren this year, which is different from previous years."
A source close to the couple revealed, "Harry looks upset and heartbroken for not being invited by his father to join him at royal Christmas. He is shattered and frustrated over the Christmas snub from his father. It seems the setback is hard for him to digest."
Speculation arose after Harry and Meghan's phone call to King Charles on his 75th birthday in November, leading to hopes of the couple reuniting with their royal relatives for Christmas. However, these expectations were dashed by revelations in Omid Scobie's new book, 'Endgame.'
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams expressed skepticism about the couple's return, labeling them as highly "unpredictable" and "untrustworthy." He emphasized that sending messages may occur, but it would be inappropriate, especially considering the public perception in America, where the couple resides. Fitzwilliams highlighted that solely making money by criticizing the Royal Family is not a favorable path for their future.
