Prince William and Princess Kate have received advice to increase their
involvement in royal events to rebuild their image following the fallout from
Omid Scobie's controversial book, "Endgame," which included claims of racism
within the royal family.
The co-hosts of "Royally Obsessed," Roberta Fiorito, and Rachel Bowie,
commended the royal couple for their recent public engagements but suggested
that more participation is needed. Roberta emphasized that "the royals can't
be silent film stars anymore."
Acknowledging the drama and fallout from "Endgame" and other events, Rachel noted that it raises a question of whether the actions of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle overshadow what Prince William and Princess Kate are doing.
The co-hosts highlighted the importance of the future King and Queen of the UK
winning the trust of the people. Rachel stated, "Kate and William should be
out there, making more of these videos, involving the kids, letting people see
how their work impacts the public in the UK."
The advice comes in the context of revelations made in "Endgame," where Omid Scobie allegedly disclosed the names of two royal figures involved in racist conversations against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie. Additionally, Prince Harry's memoir "Spare," released earlier in the year, included explosive revelations about his family, including his strained relationship with his brother William.
