Prince William's Early Romance with Kate Middleton Featured Nightmares and Drama

Prince William and Kate Middleton's enduring love story, prominently featured in The Crown Season 6 Part 2, had its fair share of drama, including William experiencing nightmares in the early days of their romance.

The recent episodes of The Crown delved into the Prince and Princess of Wales' romance, highlighting the moment when William found Kate attractive. In 2002, as a student at St. Andrews University, Kate wore a see-through dress for a charity fashion show, capturing the future King's heart.

Royal expert Christopher Anderson, author of "William and Kate: A Royal Love Story," reflected on the initial phase of their publicized romance in 2004. He noted that while Kate handled the pressure with strength and grace, William had nightmares, fearing a tragic fate similar to Princess Diana's.

"The couple’s love story is really epic in its own way," Anderson shared with Fox News Digital. The intense media scrutiny and public attention during their courtship led to emotional challenges for both.

The royal couple first met at the university in Scotland in 2002. Despite the smooth-sailing for a few years, William surprised royal watchers by breaking up with Kate in 2007. However, they reunited the same year, attributing their earlier separation to immaturity.

"We were growing up," William explained during their engagement interview. The courtship of William and Kate was marked by obstacles, turns, and even a brief separation, highlighting the complexities of their relationship.
