Prince William's Unspoken Acknowledgment to Prince Harry in Latest Foreword

In a subtle yet significant gesture, Prince William pays tribute to his estranged brother, Prince Harry, in the foreword of the latest Shout report. Shout, a round-the-clock mental health support text service in the UK, was launched in May 2019 and is a product of the Royal Foundation's Mental Health Innovations program, co-founded by Prince William, Princess Kate, and Prince Harry.

In his foreword, Prince William expresses pride in the accomplishments of Shout, emphasizing the positive impact it has had on countless individuals since its inception. Despite Harry's departure from the Royal Family, William remains dedicated to the initiative.

“Catherine and I are incredibly proud of Shout and the help it has provided to so many people since its inception,” he wrote.

Acknowledging the ongoing potential of the service, Prince William states, “The potential for the service to continue to drive positive action and move the dial on how we approach our nation's mental health is so exciting.”

He concludes optimistically, saying, ”Whilst there is still much work to be done, I hope that this report provides a positive picture about what can be achieved with a little innovation.” The unspoken nod to Prince Harry underscores the enduring impact of their collaborative efforts, even in times of personal differences.
