Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have surprised their fans by releasing their 2023 holiday card without featuring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a virtual greeting via email on behalf of their Archewell organization, extending warm wishes for the holiday season.
The selected photo is from the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, where Harry and Meghan attended. In the image, the couple looks glamorous, with Meghan in a green strapless dress adorned with laser-cut flower details, and Harry in a stylish black suit.
The card, released shortly after Harry's phone hacking lawsuit victory against Mirror Group Newspapers, expresses gratitude for the support received in 2023. The message reads, "We wish you a very happy holiday season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!"
In a statement following his legal win, Harry mentioned, "I’ve been told that slaying dragons will get you burned, but in light of today’s victory and the importance of doing what is needed for a free and honest press, it is a worthwhile price to pay. The mission continues."
Meghan and Harry are reportedly celebrating the holiday season with their children, Prince Archie (4), and Princess Lilibet (2), in California.
