The Princess of Wales is said to have made a phone call to the Duchess of Sussex following the revelation of names of senior royal members in the Dutch version of the book, accused of making 'racist' remarks about Meghan and Prince Harry’s son, Prince Archie, before his birth.
According to a source from In Touch, the phone call was at the monarch’s request, as King Charles sought to mend the escalating feud within the royal family.
“Charles forced Kate to become his peacemaker,” the source revealed. They further explained, “This feud has gotten so unseemly and out of hand, it’s starting to overshadow his reign and the entire monarchy. He wants to heal the rift once and for all.”
Despite being urged by the King, Kate is reportedly content with her decision to reach out to Meghan.
“This pettiness has gone on far too long, and if it leads to William and [Prince] Harry reuniting as brothers, Kate won’t have any regrets,” shared the insider.
They added, “Nor should Meghan have any. Hopefully, she wants to see William and Harry reconcile just as much as everyone else.”
