Bower, speaking to the Daily Express, disclosed that the Duke of Sussex finds himself with little to occupy his time in the gated community of Montecito, California. "He gets bored down there," Bower remarked.
Harry currently lacks a day job to keep him engaged, and aside from the annual Invictus Games, he has limited avenues for excitement. The couple relies on their multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and other commercial ventures for income.
"I have heard from people who know them that he gets bored down there. He has even less to do than he did here," Bower revealed.
The author of The Scandals of the Royal Palaces pointed out the significant shift in Harry's activities, noting, "He's gone from being a member of the Royal Family and doing charitable work to doing even less in the states."
Living in a gated compound, Harry encounters challenges in maintaining a low-profile life, even when engaging in seemingly mundane activities like cycling, which requires a security detail.
Bower expressed a view that public interest in Harry and Meghan might be waning, given their shift away from traditional royal duties. The expert concluded, "I think people are starting to lose interest in Harry and Meghan."
