Rumors started swirling when Princess Kate allegedly departed the London Clinic after a ten-day recovery period.
A video circulating on X, previously known as Twitter, captured a Range Rover with tinted windows exiting the hospital premises where the Princess of Wales is currently undergoing treatment, on Friday, Jan. 26.
A user with the handle @TheKingsGuardX shared the video, questioning, "Can anyone confirm Princess Catherine's departure from the hospital today after 10 days?"
Filmed at the London Clinic, the video shows vehicles with tinted windows. The user pondered, "Could the press manage to capture photographs?"
The footage included local bystanders and numerous paparazzi chasing after the vehicles in hopes of catching a glimpse of the future Queen.
Royal observers condemned the alleged lack of respect for the senior royal's privacy if indeed she departed in the mentioned vehicle.
"It seems nobody paid attention to the privacy request stated in the KP statement," one commenter lamented.
"Can Catherine not have some privacy, for heaven's sake? I thought the press had learned a valuable lesson after harassing Diana. It's appalling how they're behaving; seeing a photographer run up to the vehicle with his camera was shocking!" another commenter expressed.
However, many disputed the assumption that it was Catherine, the Princess of Wales, in the vehicle.
"No, that's likely Queen Cam's [Camilla] convoy," one commenter suggested, citing her recent visits to King Charles following his prostate surgery.
For those unfamiliar, Kate is reportedly recuperating at the London Clinic in Marylebone following abdominal surgery.
As per an official statement from Kensington Palace, the mother of three is expected to remain in the hospital for two weeks before completing the rest of her recovery at home.
