King Charles Faces Ultimatum Over Prince Andrew's Epstein Link

King Charles has been urged to sever ties with his younger brother, Prince Andrew, as the latter's name appeared prominently in recently released court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. The disgraced prince was mentioned 69 times in the new US court papers, which revealed details about Epstein's clients and implicated Andrew in activities on the private Caribbean island known as the "paedophile island."

The revelations, including Andrew's alleged participation in an "underage orgy," have been described as the "final nail in the coffin" by royal commentator Phil Dampier. He stated, "If Andrew harboured any thoughts he might eventually come back, this has destroyed these hopes."

Royal expert Robert Jobson also suggested that King Charles should cut ties completely with his brother, emphasizing that Andrew is a liability, and the scandal is not going away.

Former Lib Dem Home Office minister Norman Baker emphasized the need for a resolution, stating, "This needs to be resolved once and for all, and this boil needs to be lanced."

Despite previous controversies, King Charles has allowed Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to retain Royal Lodge as their primary residence in the UK. However, the recent court documents have intensified calls for a decisive separation. The former couple's attendance at the Christmas walkabout at Sandringham last month further fueled discussions about their standing in the royal family.
