Prince Harry attended the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in
Beverly Hills, California, on Friday, January 19, without Meghan Markle by his
side. Dressed in a velvet tuxedo paired with matching-colored jeans and dress
shoes, the Duke of Sussex was set to be inducted into the aviation hall of fame
for his significant contributions to the aviation/aerospace industry during his
ten years of military service.
The event, hosted by John Travolta, the Official Ambassador of Aviation, garnered attention and sparked backlash after the announcement of Harry's award by the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy. Critics questioned his credibility to receive such an honor.
The ceremony occurred amidst ongoing health concerns within the royal family, particularly Princess Kate's recovery from abdominal surgery and King Charles's upcoming surgery for an enlarged prostate. Prince Harry has not publicly addressed these health concerns, leaving uncertainty about any private outreach to Kate and Charles during this challenging time.
