A source, speaking to the Mirror, revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, currently residing in the United States, have conveyed their concern and best wishes to both senior royal members through different means.
“The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes,” shared the insider.
As per an official announcement from Kensington Palace shared on the social media accounts of the Waleses earlier this week, Princess Kate is presently recuperating from a "successful" abdominal surgery at a private London Clinic. Simultaneously, King Charles is slated for surgery in the coming days to address his enlarged prostate.
Despite the ongoing tensions between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family since their decision to step back from royal duties in 2020, the couple has chosen to extend their support during the health challenges faced by Kate and King Charles.
It's worth noting that Harry faced criticism recently for not expressing concern for his estranged family members during his acceptance speech at the 21st Annual Aviation Awards. The author of "The Spare" was inducted into the Aviation Hall of Fame at the awards ceremony held in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday, January 19.
