Koy remarked, "Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing – and that’s just by Netflix."
In response to these biting comments, royal commentator Phil Dampier expressed his views on the couple's changing public perception.
Dampier noted that when individuals become subjects of ridicule, it indicates a decline in popularity. He mentioned that when Meghan and Harry first relocated, they were initially well-received, but recent events have led to a shift in public sentiment.
Commenting on the couple's diminishing popularity in the United States, Dampier added, "When you've fallen out with the woke luvvies and they're starting to take the mickey out of you, you know that your star has fallen."
The couple has faced criticism for their perceived silence following Omid Scobie's claims about "racist royals," and their attempts to rebrand their image in 2023 reportedly encountered challenges.
