As stated by royal author Phil Dampier in Fabulous Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have acknowledged the negativity surrounding their image over the past year. Dampier noted, "They will play things differently in 2024."
The California-based couple is reportedly aware of their declining public image compared to the widely popular Prince William and Kate, referred to as the Prince and Princess of Wales. Dampier mentioned, "The former members of the so-called 'Fab Four' aren’t on speaking terms, sadly, and so we can expect to see more of this rivalry through photo-ops and pet projects."
According to Dampier, Meghan and Harry are determined to fight back and demonstrate their ability to engage in positive projects while enjoying their lives.
The Sussexes have been in the news for their public criticisms against the royal family, ranging from Harry's revealing memoir "Spare" to Omid Scobie's allegations of 'racist royals,' resulting in strained relationships with senior royal figures and a decline in public popularity.
